It’s been a week since the collapse of the Skagit River Bridge on Interstate 5 north of Seattle. Washington State Department of Transport (we just call them ‘wash-dot’ here on the news) has dredged up the bridge section and vehicles from the river, and is getting ready to put a temporary section in place.
