I had a picture from twenty years ago, of a New York City street corner somewhere in Times Square, and I stubbornly used Google Street View until I finally found the place that I had taken the 1999 picture from. It looks very different today!
P.S. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced he is running for President in 2020 today. The count of Democratic candidates is now at 23.

Good work in re-looking at an old memory. I’ve always been interested in going back to see houses currently that I have pictures of when I lived in them many years ago.
Yes, it’s interesting to do that, and see what changed! Some things stay around for a long time in one form or another, though. Seems in the Google Street View picture someone – maybe Netflix – is advertising the Clint Eastwood’s classic Western ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’, a movie which was released in 1967!
