I have had this play set of Doraemon* images & world map for a few years (bought it in Tokyo), and finally made them into pictures the way I have always wanted to.
It was a good exercise in geography to identify all the countries! (I cannot read Japanese, but the numbers on the map are good clues).
*Doraemon is a futuristic robotic cat that travels back in time from the 22nd century. He was created and illustrated by Fujiko F. Fujio, and first published in 1969.
The images of Daoraemon, sometimes with a companion, are magnetic, and are put on a little square that represents a country in the world with some iconic imagery in the background. Maybe the vuvuzela for South Africa (no 23) was inspired by the 2010 World Cup!
